Tokyo: Sumo Restaurant with Demonstration
Ryogoku is the centre of Japan’s professional sumo wrestling world so, it’s especially fitting that the city’s only sumo themed restaurant, Hananomai, is located here. In the middle of Hananomai Sumo Restaurant lies a real sumo ring or dohyō. The ring is used by retired sumo wrestlers, to entertain diners.
Outline Itinerary:
1820 hours – Transfer to the restaurant by private coach [about 15-20 minutes]
1845 hours – Arrive Sumo Restaurant
1900 hours – Dinner
1930 hours – Sumo demonstration and photo time etc
2100 hours – End of event, transfer back to hotel
Cost Includes:
Meal: Dinner** plus drink with Sumo demonstration
English speaking assistant
Return transfers to/from hotel by private coach
