Itineraries
Day 1
Date : 12 August 2027
Departure Day
Fly from London to Bilbao, where you’ll be met for your transfer to San Sebastián. On arrival, check in at the four-star Barceló Costa Vasca for your four-night stay. Located close to Ondarreta Beach, the hotel has modern rooms, spacious terraces and an outdoor swimming pool, making it a great base for the trip. In the evening, join the group for a welcome meal at a local restaurant.
Day 2
Date : 13 August 2027
Semana Grande
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day enjoying San Sebastián and the city’s Semana Grande celebrations. Throughout the week, the city hosts a packed programme of live music, traditional Basque events and entertainment. In the evening, head towards La Concha to watch the International Fireworks Competition light up the bay.
Day 3
Date : 14 August 2027
Spanish Gold Cup Day
After breakfast, travel to Hipódromo de San Sebastián for the Copa de Oro, the highlight of the racecourse’s summer season. Enjoy a memorable day of racing before returning to the hotel, with the evening free to spend at leisure.
Day 4
Date : 15 August 2027
Day at Leisure
After breakfast, enjoy a free day exploring San Sebastián at your own pace. Walk along La Concha, visit the Old Town and its famous pintxo bars or take the funicular up Monte Igueldo for fantastic views across the city. The evening is at leisure, giving you the chance to enjoy your final night in San Sebastián.
Day 5
Date : 16 August 2027
Final Day
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Depending on the flight time, there may be some final free time in San Sebastián before transferring to Bilbao Airport for the return flight to London.

If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
If you have booked a package with us that includes a flight, then you will receive an ATOL certificate with your confirmation documents.

Barceló Costa Vasca
Barceló Costa Vasca is a stylish four star hotel just a short walk from Ondarreta beach and the iconic Wind Comb. Renovated in 2020, it offers modern, comfortable rooms and excellent dining that showcases the flavours of northern Spain. You can relax on the spacious outdoor terraces or enjoy the summer garden and pool. It truly is a great base for our trip to the incredible San Sebastián.
