DAY 02: ARRIVAL IN DHAKA

12 February 2027

On arrival at Dhaka International Airport, you will be met by your Antiquity Tour Director and transferred to your hotel.

Accommodation: 5* The Westin Dhaka (or similar): 8 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and settle into your surroundings.

DAY 03: DHAKA RIVER CRUISE

13 February 2027

Following breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a private river cruise along the Sitalakhya River, offering a fascinating insight into everyday life and the natural beauty of Bangladesh.

Cruising downstream, the boat will arrive at Murapara after approximately 1½ hours. Disembark to visit the historic Murapara Zamindar Palace, now home to Murapara College, before returning to the boat and continuing downstream.

The cruise will then return towards Noapara, where you will visit a local weaving community and witness the intricate production of Jamdani sarees, one of Bangladesh’s most celebrated traditional crafts. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a Jamdani piece as a memorable souvenir.

Return to the hotel with the remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

DAY 04 – DAY 08 : DHAKA | 1ST TEST

Breakfast at the hotel each morning, before transferring to the ground to witness the 1st Test Match.

Following the day’s play, return to the hotel. Evenings at leisure.

DAY 09: DHAKA SIGHTSEEING

19 February 2027

Following breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Dhaka, taking in some of the city’s most significant landmarks.

The tour includes Sadarghat Waterfront, the historic Lalbagh Fort and Dhakeshwari Temple, offering an insight into the history, culture and character of Bangladesh’s vibrant capital.

Return to the hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 10: DHAKA / SYLHET

20 February 2027

Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Dhaka Domestic Airport for your flight to Sylhet. The flight takes approximately 55 minutes.

On arrival in Sylhet, transfer to your hotel.

Accommodation: 5* Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort (or similar). 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

This afternoon, visit one of the region’s renowned tea gardens and discover the traditional process of tea production, an integral part of Sylhet’s heritage and landscape.

Return to the hotel following the excursion.

DAY 11: SYLHET | TAMABIL & JAFFLONG

21 February 2027

Following breakfast, travel north towards the border town of Tamabil and the picturesque Jaflong area, situated close to the Indian border.

Set amongst rolling hills and a beautiful river landscape, Jaflong provides spectacular views towards the Indian hills and waterfalls. The area is also known for its traditional stone collection from the riverbed.

You will have the opportunity to visit a local Khasia community and experience their unique culture and way of life. A traditional lunch will be hosted by members of the local Khasia community, accompanied by a cultural performance.

Following lunch, return to Sylhet.

DAY 12- DAY 16 : SYLHET | 2ND TEST

Breakfast at the hotel each morning, before transferring to the ground to witness the 2nd Test Match.

On arrival at Dhaka Domestic Airport, transfer to your hotel.
