The French Derby is always one of the highlights of our racing calendar and we are already looking ahead to 2027, with plans underway for another memorable weekend in the beautiful racing town of Chantilly.
The Prix du Jockey Club is one of Europe’s most prestigious Classic races, attracting many of the leading horses, trainers and jockeys from across the continent. Staged at the stunning Chantilly Racecourse, it combines world class racing with a unique atmosphere that makes it one of the most enjoyable race days of the season.
While race day is the centrepiece, the weekend offers much more. Our carefully planned itinerary includes a morning Eurostar journey to Paris, welcome drinks on arrival in Chantilly, an evening mealt plus an exclusive stable visit with lunch before returning to the UK.
Our 2026 trip once again demonstrated why this weekend remains so popular. Aidan O’Brien joined us in the racecourse restaurant shortly before saddling Constitution River to lead home a remarkable Ballydoyle one, two, three in the feature race, providing a memorable moment for all of our guests.

Day 1
Date : 4 June 2027
Departure Day
Meet at London St Pancras for our morning Eurostar departure to Paris before continuing by train to Chantilly. After checking into the 4* Hotel du Parc, we’ll enjoy welcome drinks together before the remainder of the evening is yours to explore the town or dine at your leisure.
Day 2
Date : 5 June 2027
Day at Leisure + Group Dinner
Today is free for you to explore Chantilly at your own pace. Your package includes admission to the spectacular equestrian show at the Château de Chantilly. In the evening, we’ll come together for a group dinner at the renowned Le Vertugadin restaurant.
Day 3
Date : 6 June 2027
Prix du Jockey Club
Breakfast at the hotel.
Short flat walk (1.5 km) to Chantilly racecourse for the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club race day. With a stacked card, you will be able to enjoy one of the biggest racedays in the French flat racing calendar.
Hospitality in the Panoramic restaurant throughout the day with great views of the racecourse including lunch and tea.
Day 4
Date : 7 June 2027
Stable Visit + Return Home
After breakfast, we’ll enjoy an exclusive visit to Nicolas Clément and Frauke Hermans’ training yard, including the famous Chantilly forest gallops. Following a light lunch with our hosts, we’ll return to the station for our journey back to Paris and the Eurostar home.

Return train travel between Paris and Chantilly, with a journey time of approximately 20 minutes.

Racing Around The World Tour Manager
An experienced Racing Around The World Tour Manager will accompany the group throughout the trip.
Travel insurance is not included.
If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
If you have booked a package with us that includes a flight, then you will receive an ATOL certificate with your confirmation documents.

We highly recommend taking out a travel insurance policy as soon as you have made your booking, as most policies cover you from the moment you take the policy out, and not just for the time you will be away. Different insurance providers provide different levels of cover so it is always best to check that the policy you take out meets your individual circumstances.
