Overview
This tour focuses on the final two Test Matches of the series, combined with festive celebrations and time to explore two of South Africa’s most exciting cities. You will travel from the UK to Pretoria for an seven night stay at a five star hotel, providing a comfortable base for the Christmas period and the second Test Match between South Africa and England. The programme includes a special Venatour Christmas Day lunch, daily match transfers on Test days, and free time to relax or join a range of optional excursions.
Following the Pretoria stay, the tour continues to Cape Town for a further eight nights over New Year. You will stay at a well located four or five star hotel near the V&A Waterfront, ideally placed for sightseeing, dining and exploring the city’s famous surroundings. New Years Eve will be marked with an Venatour celebration, and the itinerary also includes a full day excursion to a local vineyard with lunch.
The tour concludes with the third Test Match, with return transfers to the ground included, before departing Cape Town for the return flight to the UK.

We’ll arrive at Silvermist Wine Estate around midday for an exclusive afternoon experience at this stunning mountaintop estate. We’ll enjoy a private area with breathtaking views over the iconic Twelve Apostles, while the owner and winemaker personally host an intimate wine tasting.
The afternoon will feature a vibrant drumming show in the on-site theatre (45–60 minutes), followed by a traditional braai accompanied by marimba players and live music, creating a relaxed yet festive atmosphere before departing at 16:00hrs. Additional beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the day.

On the evening of day 3, join us for a relaxed evening in Cape Town with a traditional South African braai, a couple of cold beers, and the chance to meet some cricketing greats. Good food. Great company. Proper cricket vibes.

For cricket supporters, it makes a great base because you’re centrally located and we will transfer you to Newlands Cricket Ground, which is around a 15–20 minute drive away (traffic depending!). Perfect for the cricket, while also being close to bars, restaurants and nightlife for match-day celebrations or relaxed downtime afterward.
Your £250.00pp deposit secures your place on the tour. Once the schedule is confirmed, if there are any changes to the listed itineraries, you’ll have the option to either transfer your booking to the revised itinerary or receive a full refund. If you chose to travel, the initial £250.00 payment that has been made, will be deducted from your final balance.
If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
