This unforgettable festive tour brings together world-class Test Match cricket, seasonal celebrations, and the chance to explore some of South Africa’s most vibrant destinations, finishing your tour on safari.
Your adventure begins in Pretoria, where you’ll enjoy an seven-night stay at a luxury five-star hotel. This elegant base provides the perfect setting for the Christmas period and the second Test Match between South Africa and England. The programme includes a special Venatour Christmas Day lunch, daily match transfers on Test days, and plenty of free time to relax or join a selection of optional excursions.
The tour then continues to Cape Town for a further eight nights over the New Year. You’ll stay in a well-located four or five-star hotel close to the V&A Waterfront, perfectly positioned for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and exploring the city’s iconic surroundings. New Year’s Eve is celebrated with a special Venatour event, and the itinerary also includes a full-day vineyard excursion with lunch in the Cape Winelands.
The cricket concludes with the third Test Match, with return transfers to the ground included..
To finish the tour, travel for a two-night safari extension at the stunning Amakhala Game Reserve. This unforgettable finale offers luxury lodge accommodation, guided game drives, and the chance to see Africa’s iconic wildlife in their natural habitat, the perfect ending to an extraordinary South African journey.

We’ll arrive at Silvermist Wine Estate around midday for an exclusive afternoon experience at this stunning mountaintop estate. We’ll enjoy a private area with breathtaking views over the iconic Twelve Apostles, while the owner and winemaker personally host an intimate wine tasting.
The afternoon will feature a vibrant drumming show in the on-site theatre (45–60 minutes), followed by a traditional braai accompanied by marimba players and live music, creating a relaxed yet festive atmosphere before departing at 16:00hrs. Additional beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the day.

On the evening of day 3, join us for a relaxed evening in Cape Town with a traditional South African braai, a couple of cold beers, and the chance to meet some cricketing greats. Good food. Great company. Proper cricket vibes.

Check out of your Cape Town Hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival, transfer to Bukela Game Lodge on the Amakhala Game Reserve. On arrival, check into the Bukela Game Lodge for a 2 night stay.

Your £250.00pp deposit secures your place on the tour. Once the schedule is confirmed, if there are any changes to the listed itineraries, you’ll have the option to either transfer your booking to the revised itinerary or receive a full refund. If you chose to travel, the initial £250.00 payment that has been made, will be deducted from your final balance.
If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
