This exceptional festive tour blends world-class Test Match cricket with seasonal celebrations and immersive city experiences, creating a truly unforgettable South African holiday, with an added limited-overs finale in the Cape Winelands.
Your journey begins with a flight into Johannesburg, followed by a transfer to Pretoria, where you’ll enjoy an seven-night stay at a luxury five-star hotel. This elegant base provides the perfect setting for the Christmas period and the second Test Match between South Africa and England. The programme includes a special Venatour Christmas Day lunch, daily match transfers on Test days, and generous free time to relax or take part in a range of optional excursions.
The tour then continues to Cape Town for a further eight-night stay over the New Year. Guests will be accommodated in a well-located four or five-star hotel close to the V&A Waterfront, perfectly positioned for sightseeing, dining, shopping, and exploring the city’s famous surroundings. New Year’s Eve is marked with a special Venatour celebration, and the itinerary also includes a full-day vineyard excursion with lunch in the Cape Winelands.
The cricketing action continues with the third Test Match, with return transfers to the ground included, before the tour moves into its final chapter.
To finish the tour enjoy a three-night stay in the historic wine town of Paarl. This includes tickets to the First One Day International (ODI) between South Africa and England, offering guests the chance to experience the excitement of limited-overs cricket in a beautiful Cape Winelands setting, alongside time to relax, explore local vineyards, and enjoy the region’s renowned food and wine culture.
The tour then concludes with departure from Cape Town for the return flight to the UK.

We’ll arrive at Silvermist Wine Estate around midday for an exclusive afternoon experience at this stunning mountaintop estate. We’ll enjoy a private area with breathtaking views over the iconic Twelve Apostles, while the owner and winemaker personally host an intimate wine tasting.
The afternoon will feature a vibrant drumming show in the on-site theatre (45–60 minutes), followed by a traditional braai accompanied by marimba players and live music, creating a relaxed yet festive atmosphere before departing at 16:00hrs. Additional beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the day.

If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
