Itineraries
Day 1
Date : 11 February 2027
Departure Day
Make your own way to London Heathrow, where you will be met by your Venatour Tour Manager.
Depart on your overnight flight to Dhaka with Turkish Airlines, via Istanbul.
Flight TK1980 departs at 11:25.
Day 2
Date : 12 February 2027
Arrive in Dhaka
Flight TK712 arrives at 05:50.
On arrival at Dhaka International Airport, you will pay & collect your visa on arrival, before being transferred to your hotel, where early check in has been arranged.
Accommodation: The Westin Dhaka – 8 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and settle into your surroundings before welcome drinks with the group this evening.
Day 3
Date : 13 February 2027
Dhaka River Cruise
Following breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a private river cruise along the Sitalakhya River, offering a fascinating insight into everyday life and the natural beauty of Bangladesh.
Cruising downstream, the boat will arrive at Murapara after approximately 1½ hours. Disembark to visit the historic Murapara Zamindar Palace, now home to Murapara College, before returning to the boat and continuing downstream.
The cruise will then return towards Noapara, where you will visit a local weaving community and witness the intricate production of Jamdani sarees, one of Bangladesh’s most celebrated traditional crafts. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a Jamdani piece as a memorable souvenir.
Lunch is included.
Return to the hotel with the remainder of the evening at leisure.
Day 4-8
Date : 14 February 2027
1st Test Match – Dhaka
Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the ground to witness the 1st Test Match.
Following the day’s play, return to the hotel.
Day 9
Date : 19 February 2027
Dhaka Sightseeing
Following breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Dhaka, taking in some of the city’s most significant landmarks.
The tour includes Sadarghat Waterfront, the historic Lalbagh Fort and Dhakeshwari Temple, offering an insight into the history, culture and character of Bangladesh’s vibrant capital.
Return to the hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 10
Date : 20 February 2027
Dhaka / Sylhet
Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Dhaka Domestic Airport for your flight to Sylhet. The flight takes approximately 55 minutes.
On arrival in Sylhet, transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation: The Royal Mark Hotel – 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
This afternoon, visit one of the region’s renowned tea gardens and discover the traditional process of tea production, an integral part of Sylhet’s heritage and landscape.
Return to the hotel following the excursion.
Day 11
Date : 21 February 2027
Sylhet/ Tamabil & Jaflong
Following breakfast, travel north towards the border town of Tamabil and the picturesque Jaflong area, situated close to the Indian border.
Set amongst rolling hills and a beautiful river landscape, Jaflong provides spectacular views towards the Indian hills and waterfalls. The area is also known for its traditional stone collection from the riverbed.
You will have the opportunity to visit a local Khasia community and experience their unique culture and way of life. A traditional lunch will be hosted by members of the local Khasia community, accompanied by a cultural performance.
Following lunch, return to Sylhet, with the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 12-16
Date : 22 February 2027
Sylhet – 2nd Test
Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the ground to witness the 2nd Test Match.
Return to the hotel following the day’s play.
Day 17
Date : 27 February 2027
Sylhet / Dhaka
Breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Sylhet Domestic Airport for your return flight to Dhaka.
On arrival at Dhaka Domestic Airport, transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation: Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport by IHG – 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis.
Thie afternoon, you will be transferred to a local venue for a farewell meal & drinks with the rest of the group.
Day 18
Date : 28 February 2027
Dhaka / Departure
Early transfer to Dhaka International Airport for your return flight to the UK, via Istanbul.
Flight TK713 departs Dhaka at 07:30. Following a layover in Istanbul, flight TK1971 will arrive at London Heathrow at 16:20 where you will continue with your own onward travel arrangements.

Ideally located close to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the hotel combines exceptional comfort with contemporary design and first-class facilities, providing a fitting finale to your time in Bangladesh.
Your £250.00pp deposit secures your place on the tour. Once the schedule is confirmed, if there are any changes to the listed itineraries, you’ll have the option to either transfer your booking to the revised itinerary or receive a full refund. If you chose to travel, the initial £250.00 payment that has been made, will be deducted from your final balance.
If the event has been cancelled due to an ‘Act of God’ then unfortunately you will not be refunded. If the event is postponed your booking will be transferred over to the new dates. If you cannot travel on the new dates we will either transfer your booking to a new event or we will work with you to provide a refund.
If you have booked a package with us that includes a flight, then you will receive an ATOL certificate with your confirmation documents.
