The Venatour Experience: what our clients can expect on tour at the Rugby World Cup™ | #TravelTuesday
With just days to go until rugby’s showpiece event, Venatour clients are gearing up to take to Japan for what should be an unforgettable experience, on and off the pitch.
As a Rugby World Cup 2019™ Authorised Sub-Agent, we have worked hard to create a selection of packages that offer the perfect combination of sightseeing activities and matches. We believe that our clients are entitled to expect the very best when they deal with us, which is why we’ve worked with them to ensure they have the opportunity to discover one of the most fascinating countries in the Orient whilst at the same time as savouring the non-stop action on the field.
Although each client will enjoy a unique experience, here are some of the main features Venatour will offer our clients during Rugby World Cup 2019™.
Despite all the attractions that Japan has to offer, surely nothing can top rugby’s showpiece event. With holders New Zealand looking vulnerable, there’s an opportunity for former champions Australia, South Africa or England to steal their crown. Or will we see a new victor? Ireland and Wales have traded Six Nations Grand Slams over the past two years, before trading World Number 1 titles over the past two weeks. Could we see an unexpected side steal the elite’s thunder? Mercurial France and Maveric Scotland have shown that they can beat anyone on their day. Whoever lifts the Web Ellis Trophy on 2nd November, one thing’s for sure – this will be the most competitive Rugby World Cup™ yet.
From the breathtaking Mount Fuji to the iconic Golden Pavillion (formerly Kinkaku-ji), Japan is a country brimming with culture. Our clients will be accompanied by expert Japanese guides to uncover the wonders of the country and discover local secrets. Our tour managers are also always on hand to provide assistance should it be needed as you make your way through Japan.
Meet Rugby Legends
Not only will Venatour clients enjoy the best games and the best sights in Japan, but they also have the opportunity to meet the best players to have graced the rugby pitch. Our tourists will be able to enjoy the company of rugby legends at matches and other functions such as the famous Cooch’s Taverns, hosted by Venatour’s own British and Irish Lion Gareth Chilcott. Previous guests have been Shane Williams (far left), Sir Ian McGeechan (centre), Stuart Barnes, Thinus Delport, Jason Leonard, Ian Robertson to name but a few.
Travel and Accommodation? Sorted.
Even if you’re lucky enough to grab a golden ticket to the Rugby World Cup™, sorting travel and accommodation can become a huge stumbling block, especially in a country as unique as Japan. If booking with Venatour, help is at hand to put your mind at ease. Clients can rest easy while we sort flights, trains, transfers, matchday travel and hotels, with upgrades also available upon request. With our Japanese expertise, we arrange travel and accommodation, hassle-free.
Who says kit is just for the players? At Venatour, we take pride in creating a friendly team culture whilst on tour. Our stylish kit not only allows our clients to identify each other on crowded matchdays but also helps to build a group ethic that is renowned on our tours. Many tourists make lifelong friends, and with events such as the Venatour Rugby World Cup 2019™ Launch Night clients have opportunities to get to know their fellow rugby fans before and after the tour.
