After teaching for 38 years I decided to move into the sports travel business. This has given me the opportunity to combine my two main interests of sport and travel.
Rugby has been my real passion since being educated at Marling Grammar School and Swansea University where I was fortunate enough to captain Swansea, Welsh Universities and the UAU. I played most of my club rugby at Bath but also appeared for Stroud, Swansea, Neath, Lydney and Bournemouth. I coached school 1st XVs and several players who went on to international honours like Phil de Glanville, Huw Bennett, Charlie Ewels, Ollie Devoto and Henry Pyrgos.
I have been involved with England Schools for almost 20 years. Touring has been a very big part of my life and of all the many tours I have been on, South America was my all-time favourite. My best sporting memory must be 3rd Lions test 2013 although 3rd Test in NZ would run it close. I still enjoy training, spinning being a recent passion and still play social golf (badly!).
I am a life-long supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and still model my five a side on the great Glen Hoddle. Visiting large sporting events or other countries as part of a group still gives an incredible buzz and the opportunity to meet lots of like-minded souls.
