The Rugby World Cup for women, historically known as the Women’s Rugby World Cup, is the premier international competition in rugby union for women.

Originally due to take place in New Zealand in 2021, the Covid-19 restrictions have meant that the competition is instead rescheduled for October & November 2022, with fixtures being played in Auckland and Whangarei.
