The 2024 Punchestown Festival starts on Tuesday 30th April and concludes on Saturday 4th May 2024 at Punchestown Racecourse near Naas in County Kildare. The “finale” meeting of the Irish Jumps season where the Champion Owner, Trainer and Jockey are crowned. At Venatour Racing Social, we have put the Ultimate Package together including a stable tour, Irish National Stud visit, two days racing including the Gold Cup Day and a lovely stay in a 4 Star Hotel.
The 5 Day Meeting in County Kildare is a draw for the very best owners and trainers from both sides of the Irish Sea. With its unique mix of racing, live entertainment and the finest food and drink, Punchestown Festival is a must for all National Hunt Racing fans.
A showcase of jump racing is in store over five fabulous days where 12 grade one contests and over €3.3 million in prize money is up for grabs. Seasoned campaigners compete shoulder to shoulder with rookies and new names and this is where our champions are crowned and fresh talent emerges. It is truly a fitting finale meeting for our horses, trainers, jockeys and owners who have entertained us over the jump season.
Few sporting experiences compare with the raw energy of horse racing in Ireland. It is inherent in Irish culture and heritage. It is fast, it is tough, it is fiercely competitive but it is exhilarating, thrilling and passionate in equal measure. The energy from the track feeds the enclosures where the atmosphere is unbeatable. The soundtrack of cheering, chat, live music and bustling bars injects that festive spirit. Do not miss it!

The highlight of the first day is the Grade 1 Champion Chase which kicks off a fabulous 5 days of racing.
Wednesday 1st May
It’s Gold Cup Day along with two more Grade 1 Races, the buzz is incredible, and the racing is top class!

- Morning flight from Birmingham Airport to Dublin Airport.
- Coach transfer to Barberstown Castle Hotel for check-in.
- Coach transfer to Punchestown Racecourse for Day 1 of the Festival.

Wednesday 1st May

- Coach pick-up for the Irish National Stud Visit (2-3 hours visit)
