Venatour Racing Social have created a bespoke package, giving you an opportunity to not only attend Group 1 Racing at Chantilly but also experience a unique behind the scenes insight into French racing with our gallops and stable tour.
On the Sunday we head to the Chantilly Hippodrome for a fantastic days racing headlined by the Group 1 Prix Du Jockey Club (French Derby) along with the glamour and splendor of this famous event.
The town of Chantilly is located in the Picardy region and is located 40km north of Paris. This delightful town is renowned for ‘art, history and horses’ along with its Whipped Cream off course!
The castle is the focal point of the town and the two chateaus offer two museums, stables and 115 hectares of gardens. Chantilly is a very popular location for horse racing enthusiasts with a range of training facilities along with the Chantilly Hippodrome and Grand Stables.
We are located in the heart of the town with the majority of the bars, restaurants, chateau and so much more all within walking distance.
Friday 31st May
- Flight from Birmingham to Paris or Eurostar as per your preference.
- Transfer to Chantilly.
- Check In at Hotel Du Parc Chantilly.
- Evening meal in a Chantilly restaurant.
Saturday 1st June
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Stable Visit at Nicolas Clement’s yard or Noel George with a visit to the famous Chantilly Gallops (walkable from hotel).
- The rest of the day at leisure…….we recommend a visit to Chantilly Chateau and the Great Stables (walkable from hotel).
- Pick a restaurant of your choice in this lovely setting.
Sunday 2nd June
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Morning at leisure.
- Afternoon Racing including Group 1 Race.
- Evening at leisure.
Monday 3rd June
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Transfers to Paris for return journey.
- Flight from Paris to Birmingham or Eurostar back to UK.
- Return Transport from UK to Paris.
